LAKE REDEVELOPMENT
The key design driver for the lake's redevelopment was biodiversity rehabilitation.
Located in Ahmedabad, India, the site fronts onto the canal and is looped by road networks on all sides allowing people to enter the lake premises at various points. Considering the depleting natural eco-system, the master plan was developed focusing on creating non-accessible zones dedicated for wildlife. Our concept for this redevelopment includes controlling pollution by proposing 'Reed Belts' to filter water entering the lake, as well as an Electronic Crematorium' to replace the existing system.

CREEK REDEVELOPMENT
The Creek Redevelopment demanded everything we had to offer.
The primary purpose of redesigning the creek was to reclaim water losses and convert the region into an Eco-Recreational-Tourism Corridor. As part of the redesign, we proposed different edge treatments for different creek widths such as Floating Decks and Slabs for narrow widths and maintaining water levels. A combination of active and passive recreation like Public Plazas, Concert Hall, Eco-Recreational Corridor, Beach Connection improvements, and several other important features were brought together to generate revenue and maintain the spaces. Beautification of the surroundings and revenue generation was also a part of the maintenance strategy to keep the creek clean and usable.
All of it built together to create a place that is more than the sum of its parts, and live up to the city’s tourism demands.

AMANORA TOWN CENTRE
A mixed-use development incorporating a successful meeting of retail, entertainment and office within an indoor / outdoor town centre mall development. Located in Pune, India, the site fronts onto Magarpatta Road and sits adjacent to Amanora Park Town.
Since 2012, it has become the epicentre of entertainment, best shopping destination and with its charming landscape, Pune’s favourite go-to place for all. This amazing architecture has two separate blocks: West Block and East Block, each unique in design and with its beautiful landscape it provides an unforgettable experience.
The east and west sides are connected through an open pedestrian street that allows evening cool breezes to funnel through after passing through fountains at the front entry. The street passes through a nala reserve transformed into a large public Oasis that incorporates a large water body with ghats, in the Indian tradition, playing fountains, waterfalls and extensive planting. Restaurant and cafe seating make use of the outside area, on the ground under trees as well as upon terraces cascading down each side. The malls also connect via bridges across the oasis helping to provide some containment to the oasis. The street terminates under a large dome covered town circle. The upper levels of this provide the entertainment hub of the Town.
This mixed-use development has 150 stores housing over most of the international brands, food and beverages outlets, hypercity, and multiplex and gaming zones. The development was conceptualized by Walker Group Architects, New Zealand.

GOA MUSEUM
The new cultural centre and an essential part of the Goan community.
When the Goa State Museum started a renewal program for their campus, the vision was to relocate to a new modern building, organize exhibits, improve circulation and establish a signature image connecting to the city and the context and invoking pride in the people of Panaji.
The team simplified the client’s vision and designed the Museum’s new facilities with uninterrupted circulation with constant points of interests, variety of spaces and elements of surprises that connects the city, culture and rich heritage. The design incorporates details and finishes of the new architecture while remaining sensitive to the surroundings, and several sustainable features to protect the collections from the coastal weather and conditions. Bold colours are used throughout the campus to enliven the overall atmosphere.Goa, India
