With over 20 years of professional experience, Chetan is Ingsophy’s inhouse engineering expert. His areas of expertise include all levels of building electrical systems from power distribution and lighting; to communications and infrastructure control; to fire alarm and security. Chetan has completed a wide variety of healthcare, commercial, residential, civic, and institutional projects, for both public and private sector clients. Building on his strong technical background, is an accomplished senior level professional with an aptitude for management, project planning and a proven track record of project execution, coordination, quality control, and completion. He builds client trust and confidence by performing a thorough needs analysis and maintaining focus on these needs throughout the life of the project.

SHASHANK WATTE

Shashank brings over 19 years of experience in HVAC design analysis and project management for the design, retrofit, replacement and expansion of systems for a variety of engineering-intensive and sustainability-focused projects.

He has extensive experience in sustainability design and design and execution of HVAC systems for commercial, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. His proficiency primarily include building systems feasibility studies and inputs to architects for building orientation, massing master planning, internal layouts, façade design, natural ventilation aspects, inputs for energy modelling, thermal analysis, ventilation strategies, CFD, MEP utility area planning, green building documentation and coordination with other consultants and stakeholders. Shashank's leadership and knowledge lends added efficiency to every project he is involved with.

DR. NITEEN DUBAL
Head - Projects

Dr. Niteen Dubal comes with over twenty years of worldwide experience in the field of Civil Structures. He has a comprehensive academic background and is highly professional in his standard of work. He is an excellent team leader, and has a broad experience in managing, supervising and motivating other staff. His broad knowledge of the industry in various countries and his academic background provide him with extra versatility when it comes to engineering solutions to meet client and authority requirements.

His experience includes work on residential, commercial, mixed-use, transportation and industrial sectors in India, Qatar, UK and Ireland.

Gopinath Akalkotkar
(Director)

Gopinath Akalkotkar has joined Archwert to spearhead the creation of a global design and planning firm. Apart from providing design leadership, he will be the main guiding force for the vision and overall business strategy for Archwert in collaboration with the promoters.

A LEED accredited professional, Gopinath is a licensed architect in India as well as the State of Texas in the USA. Educated in India, Switzerland and the US, he has over 27 years of global experience in the field of Architecture, Urban Design and Planning. He has worked on projects in the US, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Japan and South Korea.

After 20 years of Global work, Gopinath returned to India from 2009-2014 as part of the senior management of Burt Hill Design in India. After Burt Hill merged with Stantec, Gopinath took on the role of the Managing Principal of Stantec India. During his leadership tenure with Stantec, the firm delivered several marquis projects in India as well as collaborated with other Stantec offices to deliver large projects globally.

The body of his work includes Urban Planning, Urban Design, Master planning and Architecture for large scale projects. Having led a multi-disciplinary firm, he is adept at integrated delivery of complex projects. Several of his projects have been published and have won awards globally. He has special interest in large scale architectural projects such as Stadiums, Hospitals, Schools, Colleges, Offices and master planning of campuses and townships.

Gopinath also has keen interest in Academics. He has been a faculty member at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has also lectured and participated in several juries at various colleges including UT Austin and CEPT University. He has lectured extensively on various topics at several venues.

As part of his community leadership and involvement, Gopinath has served on the Technical Advisory Committee of the Planning Commission of the City of San Antonio. He has been a member of the Urban Land Institute’s membership committee, AIA San Antonio’s Urban Affairs committee and has worked on several community visioning projects in the US and India. He has also served as a steering committee member of the Leadership San Antonio program for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

His vision is to combine global knowledge with high technological expertise, to deliver world class projects in India.

KETAN BAKSHI
Founder, Director

Ketan Bakshi has over three decades of experience in the engineering & IT industry. He was instrumental in launching the first IBM-PC compatible system (Neptune) in India in 1984 and has focused on the CAD/CAM and Engineering segments since 1986. His experience includes technical, marketing, sales, and management functions for engineering and information technology.

Mr. Bakshi has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Computer Science. He was a member of India-based NASSCOM's Executive Council (2009-11) and leads several initiatives to leverage India's 'engineering services' strengths as part of the global workshare (hybrid) system.
